Jammu & Kashmir, an epitome of beauty and tranquillity is home to northern India’s diversified tribal population. These snow-clad peaks, are a humble abode to the tribes of gujjar, bakarwal, gaddi, sippi, bot, brokpa, purigpa, balti, changpa, mon, garra and beda. This population of approx. 20.5 lakh people depends on rural livelihood & reside in Kargil, Punch, Rajauri, Leh, Doda, Anantnag & Udhampur districts .

We at Tribbal News Network believe in solidarity among tribal population across India. Therefore, we present before you our new initiative “MISSION KASHMIR TRIBES”. This venture looks forward to incorporate the majestic tribes of Kashmir into mainstream media.

Mission Kashmir Tribes will focus towards:

  • The Justice and tribal human rights of Kashmir Tribes.
  • Launching, “TRIBBAL VOICE “a radio broadcast which is a coverage of tribal culture and heritage of Kashmir.
  • Focus on skill development among tribal youth in areas of news media, video editing, E-Tribal newsletter and magazines etc.
  • Short film production aiming towards social and educational upliftment of Kashmir tribes.
