All are being treated at Katra and Kakrayal Narayana Hospital. After this accident, the journey of Mata Vaishno Devi has been stopped for the time being. Rescue work is going on. On the other hand, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has expressed grief for the devotees killed in the accident as well as wished for the speedy recovery of the injured. Along with this, the families of those who lost their lives in the stampede will be given a compensation amount of Rs 2 lakh each from the Prime Minister’s Relief Fund. At the same time, Rs 50,000 will be given to the injured.
