Kupwara, 10th Jan 2022:- As part of COVID awareness activities the Indian Army Kupwara Terriers has been regularly making efforts to educate locals about the COVID -19 Pandamic . In this regard 160 Infantry Battalion TA has distributed 1000 N-95 masks and to local residents in remote areas of Warsun and Awoora.
Kupwara Terriers of Indian Army on Monday distributed these facemasks among general public in far flung areas of Kupwara district to create awareness amonng the masses about the importance and necessity of using masks to prevent the Pandemic. While distributing the masks people were also requested to take preventive COVID mesasures seriously and follow the SOP’s in order to contain the spread effectively.
The measures undertaken by Indian Army, Kupwara Terriers were highly appreciated by the locals and they thanked the Indian Army for such a great service towards the society and nation.
