ADC Kupwara, Ghulam Nabi Bhat today appealed the people of Kupwara district to continue their cooperation in mitigating the Covid situation by following Covid protocol and avoiding unnecessary venturing out of their homes. He said that the overall Covid situation in the district is under control but there is a constant need to take necessary precautions to avoid the spread of the pandemic disease.
Chief Medical Officer Kupwara, Bashir Ahmad Teli today appealed the people to avoid gatherings and unnecessary movement to prevent the spread of the Covid pandemic. He said that Covid cases are increasing in the district day by day but the overall situation is under control adding that Triages have been established in SDH Kupwara and District Hospital Handwara which are meant to provide specialized health care services to the Covid patients with comorbidities.
He said that mobile teams have been activated to identify the patients with comorbidities in every block and village of the district so that they can be shifted to nearest Covid Care centre for special treatment in case of any exigency.
