BSF Airlift Four Patients From Snow-Bound Tangdhar Sector
Kupwara, 09 January: BSF on Sunday airlifted four patients to the district headquarters Kupwara from snow-bound Tangdhar sector in north Kashmir for medical attention. Official sources told that on request of district administration Kupwara, BSF evacuated (Airlifted) four patients due to the closure of Sadhna Top, the only road towards Kupwara headquarters. They said that all the four patients were airlifted from the snow-bound Tangdhar sector to district headquarters for medical attention amid the closure of the only road, which passes through Sadhna Top.
“The four evacuated patients include men, women from Tangdhar sector”, they said. Notably, Tangdhar (Karnah) sector is among the three major areas close to the border areas that remain out bounds for at least six months of the winter season due to the heavy snowfall and the only road remain affected and witness snow and mudslides.
