During this, 13 people have died so far. At the same time, it is being said that 15 people were injured in this accident. All are undergoing treatment. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has expressed grief for the devotees who died and also wished the injured.

Jammu: In the beginning of the year 2022, a big accident has happened this morning. There was a stampede among the devotees who came to visit Mata Vaishno Devi temple on the New Year. During this, the death toll is continuously increasing. So far, the death toll has reached 13. Apart from this, news of 15 people injured has come to the fore. All are being treated at Katra and Kakrayal Narayana Hospital. After this accident, the journey of Mata Vaishno Devi has been stopped for the time being. Rescue work is going on. On the other hand, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has expressed grief for the devotees killed in the accident as well as wished for the speedy recovery of the injured. Along with this, the families of those who lost their lives in the stampede will be given a compensation amount of Rs 2 lakh each from the Prime Minister’s Relief Fund. At the same time, Rs 50,000 will be given to the injured. 

Rescue work continues, death toll is increasing continuously

Let us tell that a large number of devotees had reached here to visit Mata Vaishno. During this, the death toll in the stampede is increasing continuously. First of all, the news of the death of 7 people came to the fore. After this, gradually this figure is increasing continuously. So far 12 people have died. Rescue work continues. So far no statement has come from the administration.
